Year of Biology 2021-2022

Organized by the CNRS and the French Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the Year of Biology aims to bring the worlds of teaching and research closer together in order to highlight the major advances and challenges of biological research. It will allow teachers throughout the country to put their knowledge of biology into perspective with regard to the latest scientific discoveries and thus improve their knowledge of the world of research.

The Year of Biology in Toulouse and at CBI

Biology will be in the spotlight in the “Petit illustré” dedicated to life sciences, co-edited with La Dépêche du Midi, and to which several researchers from the three CBI laboratories, the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology and Genetics (LMGM), the laboratory of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCD) and the Animal Cognition Research Centre (CRCA), have contributed.  A launch event will be organized on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Quai des Savoirs.

Two days of training organized at the CBI, will be offered to about forty teachers on January 13 and 14, 2022 as part of the academic plan of training (PAF), with conferences and visits of laboratories and platforms.
