Aline Marnef is molecular biologist and research scientist (CRCN) at the CNRS, affiliated with the Centre de Biologie Intégrative (CBI) at Université de Toulouse. With expertise in R-loops, DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs), and ribosomal DNA, her work explores the intersection of RNA biology and genome stability.
She obtained her HDR in 2020. She is mentoring PhD and master’s students.
She is also actively engaged in science outreach and communication, participating in school programs, media collaborations, and public science events.
