Cédric Polesello, a developmental biologist, uses Drosophila to address various questions relating to intestinal homeostasis.
After completing his thesis on the role of ERM proteins in the establishment of body axes in François Payre's team, he did a postdoctoral fellowship in Nic Tapon's laboratory to understand how the Hippo signalling pathway is regulated. Recruited by the CNRS in 2007, he joined the team led by Marc Haenlin and Lucas Waltzer to work on the regulation of haematopoiesis during the larval stage. Since 2012, he has been developing a research project on the maintenance of intestinal and renal homeostasis in adult flies.
Cédric Polesello, développementaliste, utilise la drosophile pour aborder différentes questions relatives à l’homéostasie intestinale.
Après une thèse portant sur le rôle des protéines ERM dans a mise en place de axes du corps réalisée, dans l’équipe de François Payre, il a effectué un stage postdoctoral dans le laboratoire de Nic Tapon afin d’appréhender le mode de régulation de la voie de signalisation Hippo. Recruté en 2007 au CNRS, il rejoint l’équipe dirigée par Marc Haenlin et Lucas Waltzer pour travailler sur la régulation de l’hématopoïèse au cours de la vie larvaire. Depuis 2012, il développe un projet de recherche autour du maintien de l’homéostasie intestinale et rénale chez la mouche adulte.
