On Monday 24 March, the regional final of the “Ma thèse en 180 secondes” competition will be held at the Théâtre Sorano in Toulouse. For the 2025 edition, 17 doctoral students will be taking up the challenge of explaining their research subject to the general public in the simplest possible way, in just three minutes.

Among them, Magdalena Szczuka (LMGM-CBI) will attempt to represent Toulouse in the national semi-final, defending her thesis topic ‘TIMDER: coupling molecular dynamics simulations and artificial intelligence to predict and model the action of detergent molecules on the extraction and stabilisation of membrane proteins’.

Congratulations to Magdalena, but also to Samantha Béchet, Océane Dauzere-Peres and Héléna Kerjan from CRCA-CBI and Sanâa Bensaha and Thomas Verin-Debant from MCD-CBI for their participation in the MT180 regional semi-final!
