CBI’s Health and Safety unit is made up of 8 prevention assistants, who work together to strengthen the cohesion and effectiveness of prevention initiatives and guarantee a harmonised approach to risk prevention and improving working conditions in all CBI units.
Our tasks include:
– Assisting and advising unit management and staff in implementing risk prevention and improving working conditions, by ensuring a common and integrated approach across all units.
– Promote awareness, information and training for staff regarding compliance with instructions, safety rules and good practices to prevent risks.
– Ensuring that the units’ occupational health and safety register is properly kept.
– Ensuring that first aid measures are put in place in the event of an accident.
– Analysing the causes of accidents and incidents occurring in the unit, carrying out a cause tree analysis to propose corrective action.
– Working with the prevention departments of each supervisory body and with the prevention medicine department (UT3/CNRS).
– Participating actively in the network of prevention assistants run by the prevention advisers of the supervisory bodies (UT3/CNRS).
