Under the direction of Julie Batut (MCD-CBI) and her collaborators David Sanchez and Philippe Berthet (Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse), and Aline Wiame (Université Toulouse Jean-Jaurès), ‘Olfacto Mov’’ offers a unique experience combining science and games. This exploration of the formation of the olfactory organ of the zebrafish will be materialised on the scale of the town of Rieumes (Haute-Garonne) on the afternoon of Monday 28 April 2025, with around sixty people taking part in this unique experiment.
Rieumes, the olfactory organ under construction: an unprecedented scientific adventure. By taking part in this experiment, members of the public become full players in scientific research, contributing to a research project into the mysteries of olfaction. The aim of this initiative is to study how the interaction between games and science can help to advance knowledge.
