The CBI’s administrative department provides daily, on-site support to the CBI’s 47 research teams in their administrative, financial, and human resources processes. This personalized support is made possible through an organization based on dedicated contacts for each specific area.
At the heart of its mission for the research teams and technological platforms:
– Assistance and guidance in the administrative and financial preparation of funding applications
– Financial monitoring of research projects (budget allocation, execution support, financial reporting, etc.)
– Management of scientific purchases (from order to delivery) and business travel
– Support and advice for the procurement of major equipment subject to public procurement procedures
– Management of recruitment for staff funded by research projects
– Close support on individual matters related to personnel management
– Organization and management of scientific events
This service is also responsible for managing the financial aspects of CBI’s scientific outreach and the maintenance of its buildings.
It provides close-range expertise to advise and support the teams throughout all administrative procedures and within the digital management environment. In doing so, it contributes to the smooth running of research activities. Its goal is to offer responsive and personalized support.
The service works in collaboration with research teams, platforms, other support departments, and maintains constant contact with the CNRS Occitanie-Ouest regional office and the University of Toulouse.
