A CNRS research engineer position in computer science, statistics, and scientific computing is open through an external competitive selection process (concours N°51) to join the CBI’s Bioinformatics Platform for Omics Data Analysis (BigA Platform).
The position involves activities relevant to both a statistical information expert (Bap E) and a biological engineer specializing in data analysis (Bap A).
Within the CBI’s BigA Platform, and reporting to the platform’s technical manager, the omics data analysis engineer will develop methods for processing and analyzing data generated by the CBI’s research teams
and external users of the platform.
He or she will design the statistical analysis plan, carry it out, ensure the quality of the data produced and the validity of the processing performed, and ensure the effective use of the results. Each of these tasks will be carried out in close collaboration with the biologists on the research teams.
