Je co-dirige l’équipe Organisation et dynamique nucléaire au sein du CBI et suis responsable scientifique de la plateforme d'imagerie toulousaine TRI Génotoul.
Depuis la création de mon équipe (ATIP) en 2006, mes travaux de recherche portent sur l’organisation et la dynamique du noyau. En septembre 2021, j’ai proposé et assuré la codirection de l’équipe avec Frédéric Beckouet (CRCN-CNRS), avec qui j’étudie la biogenèse des ribosomes et le rôle des cohésines. J’ai activement soutenu le recrutement de plusieurs collègues CRCN au CNRS : C. Charpard (2023), F. Beckouet (2020) et B. Albert, un ancien doctorant.
Je suis très investi dans le collectif et participe au développement de plateformes de microscopie et d’analyse d’images du CBI. Je pilote également, au niveau régional, la plateforme TRI-Génotoul, labellisée IBISA et membre de France BioImaging depuis 2023 (plus de 35 ETP-ITA). J’ai favorisé l’interdisciplinarité via des projets sur la physique des polymères et la chromatine, en collaboration avec A. Bancaud (LAAS, Toulouse) et C. Zimmer (Institut Pasteur). En 2023, j’ai initié des collaborations internationales durables, notamment avec le Brésil (financement FAPESP), qui ont permis l’accueil d’un postdoctorant (le Dr Gomez-Neto) pour une durée d'un an.
I co-lead the “Nuclear Organization and Dynamics” team at the CBI and I am the scientific director of the TRI Génotoul imaging platform in Toulouse.
Since my team was created in 2006 (ATIP funding), my research has focused on the organization and dynamics of the nucleus. In September 2021, I proposed and co-directed the team with Frédéric Beckouet (CRCN-CNRS), with whom I study ribosome biogenesis and the role of cohesins. I have actively supported the recruitment of several CRCN colleagues to the CNRS: C. Charpard (2023), F. Beckouet (2020), and B. Albert, a former doctoral student.
I am very involved in the collective and participate in the development of the CBI's microscopy and image analysis platforms. I also manage the TRI-Génotoul platform at the regional level, which has been IBISA-certified and a member of France BioImaging since 2023 (more than 35 FTE-ITA). I have promoted interdisciplinarity through projects on polymer physics and chromatin, in collaboration with A. Bancaud (LAAS, Toulouse) and C. Zimmer (Institut Pasteur). In 2023, I initiated long-term international collaborations, notably with Brazil (FAPESP funding), which led to the arrival of a postdoctoral researcher (Dr. Gomez-Neto) for a period of one year.
