The BEHAVIOUR research program (Multiscale approaches to cognitive processes and behaviour) tackles the mechanisms of behaviour and cognition at different scales (from unicellular beings to multicellular individuals and societies) by combining a large array of experimental models (social insects, spiders, nematodes, myxomycetes, fish, mice...) with a variety of different approaches such as ethology, experimental psychology, modelling, the use of virtual reality and tracking tools, both in the lab or in the field.

Some of these research areas are also covered by the NEURO research program, particularly regarding studies in neuroethology, neurogenetics and neural modelling.
