International Partnerships

Intervenants

Joint research programs with research institutions around the world, in Asia (Taiwan, China, India, etc) and North America (US, Canada) and South America (Argentina, Brasil, Mexico, etc.), illustrate the international scope of the CBI.

The current policy of the CBI is to increase its international cooperation through the strengthening of the framework for hosting foreign students and researchers, and through the participation to mobility programmes such as “Projets de Recherche Conjoints” (PRC) developed by the CNRS and “Partenariats Hubert Curien” (PHC) developed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. To this end, particular effort is focused on finding scholarships and on funding researcher exchange projects (PhD and postdoctoral), as well as on improving the international visibility of the Institute. For example, the visit, in February, of a delegation from the Nitte University (India) is aimed to reinforce the cooperation with India in the future.

Moreover, the recruitment of talented scientists of any nationality, either as PhD students, post-doc fellows or new group leaders, and the hosting of visiting professors are encouraged.
