Women scientists come out of the shadows #6 - Artificial intelligence (AI)

CNRS Occitanie Ouest and its partners are working to raise the profile of women scientists with the "Les femmes scientifiques sortent de l'ombre" operation. To mark International Women's Rights Day, the Quai des savoirs is organising a week of meetings, debates and events focusing on women scientists.

As part of this event, a special time will be dedicated to schools on Friday 8 March 2024 from 10am to 4pm at the Quai des savoirs. In small groups and in 10-minute increments, registered high schools students will meet female researchers and engineers involved in AI on a day-to-day basis and will thus deconstruct their clichés. Marion Aguirrebengoa, Virginie Jouffret (CBI), Michèle Coddeville and Petra Langendijk-Genevaux (LMGM-CBI) will be taking part in these meetings, in which artificial intelligence will be discussed as both a valuable tool and an exciting research object.
