Patrice Polard on mission in India as part of the new Indo-French International Research Network (IRN) MIRA

As spokesperson for the new MIRA (Emerging Infectious Diseases and Antibiotic Resistance) international research network (IRN), Patrice Polard (LMGM-CBI) took advantage of the network's 1st mission to India, which took place from 21 to 30 November, to launch the network's first concrete actions with his colleague from the National Center for Biological Sciences of Bangalore (NCBS India, https://www.ncbs.res.in/), Prof. Anjana Badrinarayanan.

During this mission, Patrice Polard met the programme's partners in Bangalore at the Indian Institute of Science of Bangalore (IISc) and the National Center for Biological Sciences of Bangalore (NCBS India), where he was invited to give lectures.

As part of this IRN, an international Franco-Indian workshop on emerging infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance will be held at the end of November 2024 at the CBI.
